Areas of interest include
- Clotting problems eg deep vein thrombosis, pulmonary emboli
- Bleeding problems eg von Willebrand disease
- Low blood cell counts eg thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, anaemia
- High blood cell counts
- Haemochromatosis and other disorders of iron
- Thalassaemias and disorders of haemoglobin synthesis - this may be of particular relevance in pregnancy and preconception

Dr Cromer does not see malignant haematology conditions, eg leukaemia or lymphoma.

Dr Cromer is a dual trained Obstetric Physician, meaning she is qualified to treat medical disorders in pregnancy. These may be pre-existing conditions, or new conditions that have arisen in pregnancy. They do not need to be related to the field of haematology.
Dr Cromer is also experienced in pre-conception counselling for women with pre-existing medical conditions who are considering pregnancy.
For women with haematological conditions who are pregnant or considering pregnancy, Dr Cromer is particularly experienced in this field.
